Haiku’s for someone I have nothing else to offer

Quiet musician-
Waits for the cheers to die down,
Says a humbled thanks.

A deep growling voice
Talks of his pain and despair,
Comforted by love.

The tireless artist
Meets himself in the mirror:
“You worked hard. Now rest.”

Starlight pinpricks shine
Through our lonely midnights
In quiet bedrooms.

The hardworking man,
Setting note pages aside,
Remembers to breathe.

The kingdom’s burden:
“Power, wisdom, patience…”
A weight to be shared.
